Destination Gippsland (DGI) is the campaign committee for Gippsland. Its primary function is to help promote Gippsland as a tourism destination. This website is designed to give members of the tourism industry access to co-operative marketing opportunities, the latest industry news and provide key reference materials.
Tourism contributes $554 million to the Gippsland economy every year and generates 4,552 direct tourism jobs or 4.8% of total employment in the campaign region. 1By supporting and participating in co-operative marketing campaigns designed to promote our region as a tourism destination, we will all benefit.
The new Gippsland Brand Campaign was launched in October 2006 and provides the industry with several opportunities to ‘buy in’ to strong co-operative marketing opportunities.
