Accreditation is a process designed to establish and continually enhance industry professionalism and standards. It is designed to assist tourism operators to meet the ever increasing domestic and international visitors’ expectations of receiving quality professional products and services leading to a positive total tourism experience.
The program covers basic business fundamentals such Business & Marketing Plans, Customer Service, Financials, Risk Management and Operations. Where there is reliability and predictability in the operation of the business, improved customer service and satisfaction results. In turn, accreditation will provide clients and industry colleagues with an assurance that participating businesses are committed to professionalism both in business operations and delivery of service.
Benefits for ATAP operators
- Listing on websites such as ATAP, TAAL and a discounted listing on visitvictoria.com (Annual fee for accredited operators is $100 compared to $250 for nonaccredited businesses)
