The ProgramThe Gippsland Tourism Excellence Program will commence in February 2010 throughout the region offering tourism operators unprecedented opportunities to add value to their business – guaranteed! The eight workshop program is based on Tourism Victoria's Tourism Excellence Program and will be heavily subsidised by Destination Gippsland.There are five core workshops: 1. Managing your business in times of economic uncertainty 2. Research and Business Planning 3. Exceptional Customer Service 4. Pricing and Packaging 5. eMarketing and Working with the Media Additionally, there are three optional workshops: 6. Recruit, retain and exit staff 7. International marketing 8. Sustainability The cost of the full course is $350 + GST and includes all eight workshops, however the benefits of the program will be available to all participants who have completed the five core workshops. The workshops may also be attended on a casual basis at a rate of $85 + GST per individual workshop.
