Mystery Shoppers are Visiting Gippsland BusinessesThis is an exciting opportunity for tourism based businesses in Gippsland and one that we hope will be embraced by our diverse group of tourism operators. Although the audits will provide valuable information for participating businesses, there will be no cost for this service since all expenses will be covered by Destination Gippsland and Tourism Victoria. From September 2009 to August 2010, 78 businesses will be visited by an independent third party, Tourism Audit Services. The purpose is to independently and objectively measure, track and assess the actual customer experience being delivered in our region, providing an honest snapshot of how we are performing. The audit process examines all facets of day-to-day operations, first impressions, presentation, quality of the overall experience and the likelihood of return visitation and recommendation to others. Businesses are also able to measure their performance against similar sized tourism operations across the state.
