Destination Gippsland has a key role in bringing the tourism industry together to help promote the region in partnership with Tourism Victoria and Gippsland’s local governments.  By working together we will achieve efficiencies of scale and be able to support each other.

One of the primary functions of Destination Gippsland is to encourage cooperative marketing.  With the Gippsland Brand Campaign beginning in October there has never been a better time to ‘buy in’.  A prospectus is being developed that will allow businesses to support the campaign on a number of different levels.

The critical element to success is that everyone works together. Tourism in Gippsland needs the support of local businesses and communities who are prepared to support the campaign through word of mouth, email and by letting friends and family know that Gippsland really does have something special to offer.

Destination Gippsland has released its 2008 - 2009 "Inspired by Gippsland" Marketing Prospectus.

This is a chance for industry to buy in to the campaign, invest in highly subsidised marketing activities and support the promotion of Gippsland as an inspirational place to visit. We have structured the prospectus to suit large and small business.

There are a range of opportunities from $250 + GST for an online listing on www.inspiredbygippsland.com.au through to full blown advertising campaigns in metro print media and Destination Gippsland's key motivational brochures.

Destination Gippsland promotes www.inspiredbygippsland.com.au as the primary URL for the region.  If you visit this site you will be taken straight to the Gippsland section of Tourism Victoria’s ‘Visit Victoria’ website, the most visited state tourism website in Australia.

Destination Gippsland has released its latest suite of ‘Inspired By Gippsland’ promotional collateral.  Industry are invited to take these new tools and use them to promote the wonderful experiences Gippsland has to offer.

The Gippsland Motivational Brochure  

The Gippsland motivational brochure is the official holiday planner for the region featuring information on what to do and where to go in each of the three sub-regions in Gippsland, and key parks and nature reserves in the area while also encouraging touring...

The Gippsland Touring Map Pads

This easy to use A2 sized map pad with lightweight tear off pages provide Industry with a quick reference tool to assist people when they are planning their trip or already holidaying within the region about touring around Gippsland.

Picture Postcards

A suite of three inspiring picture postcards promoting the brand and images (Wilsons Prom, Tarra Bulga and Gippsland Lakes) are available to visitors region as a memento of their visit.  The postcards also reinforce long term awareness of the brand and consumer website www.inspiredbygippsland.com.au.
